These funds will be used to develop an emergency food plan for the County of Hawai`i. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating $50,000 into the Civil Defense Agency's 2020 EMPG Pgm COVID-19 Supplemental account. The Civil Defense Agency requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on the June 2, 2021 Council agenda and that the five-day hold for reconsideration period also be waived in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
