These funds are to be used to provide resources to support <br /> COVID-19 response efforts, address economic fallout and assist with recovery in relation to the , <br /> coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Additional information on the use of funds will be provided <br /> before the first reading. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill <br /> for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the FY 2020-21 portion of <br /> funding. <br /> The Department of Finance requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and <br /> placed on the on the June 2, 2021 Council agenda and that the five-day hold for reconsideration <br /> period also be waived in order to expedite the receipt of funds.
