Aloha,
My name is Adrianne Hale and I am a resident of Holualoa, Hawai'i. I was born and raised in Kona and
have seen tremendous change to our island home. The over-development has threatened the cultural
traditions and lifestyles of many as well as places 'ohana can freely enjoy. I ask that you support the
protection of MAGIC SANDS OF LA'ALOA TMK 7-7-004:063 Land Area (Acreage): 8.814 acres ft.) and
vote against the development of this area. I ask that your support of preserving this area as an
extension of Pahoehoe Beach Park. With rising sea levels and coastal erosion it is important that we
think towards the future and preserve this area as an open space. Protecting this land from development
will also ensure that archaeological structures and burials are preserved.
