This land is directly mauka of Pahoehoe Beach Park. This would enlarge the park by 8+
acres. Magic sands is a very popular beach with locals and tourist. Due to climate change and
sea level rise it is a akami to purchase and expand the beach park area mauka. We need green
open space with trees to mitigate water ways to foster a health eco system, not 50 condo units
(which was a previous plan for this parcel). This land also has many archeological structures and
burials to preserve, protect and showcase. We need more open space along Alii Dr not condos.
