CALL TO The regular meeting of the Committee on Public Works and Mass Transit
ORDER: was called to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers, Kona, by
Ms. Susan L. K. Lee Loy, Chair.

ORDER OF The Chair directed the Committee to proceed to the next order of business,
RESOLUTIONS: Order of Resolutions.
Res. 110-21: ACCEPTS THE DEDICATION OF ROADWAY LOT 398, BEING
IDENTIFIED AS TAX MAP KEY NO.: 2-4-075:070, SITUATED AT
KUKUAU 1ST, DISTRICT OF SOUTH HILO, ISLAND AND COUNTY OF
HAWAII FROM HILO HILLSIDE, LLC.
The landholder seeks to dedicate the roadways and all improvements for public
roadway purposes.
Reference: Comm. 224
Intr. by: Ms. Lee Loy (B/R)
Motion to Approve: Mr. Inaba moved to recommend adoption of Res. 110-21.
Seconded by Mr. Richards.

CHR. LEE LOY: Mr. Clerk, we have a motion to send Resolution 110-21 to the
Council with a favorable recommendation. I believe in our zoom, we have the
applicant's representatives; and here in our chambers, we have Deputy
Corporation Council Dalilah Schlueter. Ifyou don't mind, approaching the table,

Dalilah. Great Dalilah, why don't you just walk us through what we have in front
of us.
(Note: At this time, Deputy Corporation Counsel Dalilah E. Schlueter
came forward to address the members of the Committee.)
MS. SCHLUETER: Thank you, Council Members. I'm Dalilah Schlueter,
Deputy Corporation Counsel. What we've got before you is a resolution to accept
the dedication of Roadway Lot 398. Within the package is a copy of the
dedication deed itself, as well as the approval from various departments:
Department of Water Supply, Planning Department, Department of Public Works,
as well as the Department of Environmental Management.
CHR. LEE LOY: Thank you, Ms. Schlueter. Any questions from Members of
the Council? Seeing none. Well, I just wanted to take a moment, Ms. Schlueter,
thank you so much. As I shared earlier today, this is really great work product
that we see and we know that you're just starting, so thank you for getting us off
to a very great start. With that, all those in favor of sending Resolution 110-21 to
the Council with a favorable recommendation, please say "aye."
Vote on Res. 110-21: The motion to recommend adoption of Res. 110-21 was carried by
(Approved) the following voice vote:
Ayes: Committee Members David, Inaba,
Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder, Kierkiewicz, Kimball,
Richards, Villegas, and Chair Lee Loy— 8.
Noes: None.
Absent: Committee Member Chung— 1.
Excused: None.
