Subject: Written testimony for Resolution 105-21
I would like to submit written testimony for Resolution 105-21 for the finance committee (4/4/2021 @ 3pm) as
follows:
"I've been a member of the Hawaiian Acres community for 34 years and I support the idea of the road improvement
district to improve the roads in our neighborhood. As a senior and a veteran, I am personally impacted by the
condition of our roads as I worry about the emergency response rate should an accident befall me or my family at
home. In the past, I've had to drive out to meet an ambulance because they told me they could not make it past a
certain damaged road. My wife was severely injured at the time and I should not have had to worry about car
logistics while my wife fought for her life. Thankfully she made it just in time, but I worry about the next time someone
is not so lucky. These life-saving minutes don't matter-- until they do. Please consider the good the roads will do for
so many residents in this growing community."
