Please adopt Resolution 105-21 pertaining to roads in Hawaiian Acres subdivision
I am a property owner and resident since 2005.
Passage of this resolution is essential for the safety and wellbeing of citizens in Hawaiian Acres. During the past 7 or 8 years
the roads within the subdivision have deteriorated steadily until they are dangerous to drive, and restrict the ability of police,
fire and ambulance responders to provide timely responses to emergencies.
Damage to roads during hurricane Lane was so extensive that even years later, lack of funds have made repairs impossible
The Community Association bylaws make it impossible to assess road maintenance fees and other than sporadic voluntary
donations,there are no funds for road repairs.
Consequently, emergency responses are always delayed or even prevented depending upon weather conditions or the
courage of the driver of the emergency vehicle.
