Attention: Road Improvement District for Hawaiian Acres Resolution 105-21
I am a property owner in Hawaiian Acres and in the process of building a home and I am writing in
support of Resolution 105-21.
Our"voluntary road dues" is not working,with less than 12 percent of residents paying the tiny 5
dollars a month to help our roads. It goes way beyond"potholes" and now includes several lakes with
unknown situations under the water. Emergency vehicles and the school bus will soon be unable to
navigate even the most important road One.
At the very least we need mandatory dues, at the best it seems this improvement district will enable us
to have drivable roads for everyone. The county helped to create this situation, now we are asking the
county to help us by approving this district and then let us pay for it. By being an extention of our
property taxes everyone who owns in the acres will be sharing the cost of the roadways.
