To whom it may concern,
First, thank you for your time to address this current situation. I would like to submit my testimony
regarding the current status of the Road Improvement District for Hawaiian Acres and to voice my support
of the requested feasibility study.
My husband, 2 children and I have been residents in the Hawaiian Acres for 11 years and we are in favor
of adequate road improvements that are much needed due to the growing demands our roads. Over the
years we have seen increasing activity and road usage due to our growing community which increases the
dire need for safer and quicker access roadways. As we welcome more residents, many of which are
families with children and retired elderly we have seen our roads often being traveled not only by residents,
but also frequently by public school buses, emergency personel and commercial businesses. This takes a
toll on this critical infrastructure that residents depend on to get home safely and to receive emergency
help when needed.
My family and I strongly encourage the County Finance Committee to take the time to consider a feasibility
study. Please support Resolution 105-21 in order for our community to be able to take the first step and
move forward towards much needed road improvements in Hawaiian Acres.
