CALL TO ORDER: A public hearing to consider the proposed operating and capital budgets
for fiscal year July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022, was called to order by
Chair Maile Medeiros David at 5:01 p.m., in the Council Chambers,
Hilo.
ATTENDANCE:

Public” portion of the meeting.)
CHR. DAVID: Pursuant to Section 10-4 of the Hawai‘i County Charter,
notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the County
Council for the County of Hawai‘i to consider the proposed operating

budget and capital budget for fiscal year July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.
So, pursuant to Governor Ige’s most recent proclamation, in order to
minimize physical contact and maximize social distancing, this public
hearing will not be open to the public.
