Why need a Japanese Culture Center of Kona(JCCK)?
Please look around West Hawaii? Do we have any museum for local curuture preserve
facility? Yes, Puu' honua 0' Honaunau and Kaloko area for Hawaiian culture by
US Gov, otherwise no facility of museum for preserve local culture and future to
demonstrate our todays culture, Island of Hawaii has mix culture from close
Pacific Ocean. And south most location of U.S. A. 50 state. This JCCK facility t
will be not only Japanese culture. This JCCK facility will mixed culture like
our family. Every body mixed up enjoy, educate, play music, active sports,
preserve our history' s. this is start point of our community joint together y
stronger, help and learning each other' s.
Our community main income is welcome tourist. Last 20 years, do we have any
facility for tourist to visiting, educate, mingling community facilities. No new °
facility, please at Kona. Are we do welcome tourist? Yes we do higher hotel
accommodation tax and nice weather by nature. We do not have our intention for
welcome tourist.
We did new facility is Kona Court house +$90 million. This is need but who is
pay continuing bill. We are responsible? How to pay? We need new income
sauce. We need some attraction to people agree to pay. This JCCK facility
will support new attraction for tourist and local people. Simply, we do not
have this kind facility concepts by private or public. We need to build this
facility and concept.
