This testimony is in support of two long standing community events in Holualoa Village: the annual Coffee & Art
Stroll held the first Saturday in November and the Music & Light Festival held the first Saturday evening in a
December. These events have been part of the Holualoa Village for more than 20 years and were initially created to
invite residents and visitors to experience the Village.

The Coffee & Art Stroll allows small upcountry coffee farmers to leave their farms for a special day interacting
directly with residents and visitors alike. It's an opportunity to talk story and share their passion for growing Kona
Coffee. Attendees learn about the history and heritage of the area in an informal outdoor setting.
The Music & Light Festival is a unique event meant for local families to enjoy the start of the year end holidays. The
event is family and pet friendly; you often see people connect
and reconnect with neighbors and friends while enjoying live music and refreshments provided by the Village shops
and galleries.
Both events showcase the `ohana spirit so important to our Island. Both events have become a part of the fabric that
makes Holualoa such a special place.
We are deeply grateful for past funding and respectfully request your continued support
in 2021, as we all move forward with hope and healing.
