My support for JCCK's pursuit of a currently targeted parcel definitely will be helped with the County of Hawaii
Nonprofit Grant.
Being a resident of Kona for more than 314th of a century, I really felt that this cultural center is one that can serve the
people of Kona and those around the world to gather as one. These projects require a lot of time, effort, money and
with the government involved, those with a broader view of the future can keep our state serving generations to come.
Our island is probably one of the last places in the middle of the Pacific Ocean that would have enough land to build
such a center.
The board is looking foward towards the County's nonprofit grant so this project becomes a reality where we can be
that generation that makes things happen and not the generation that wonders what could have happened.
