We have lived in Holualoa across from the elementary school since 1987. Holualoa still retains a community and
cultural identity amidst the development of the Kona area, yet there is no park, and no place for the community to
gather outdoors. Mamalahoa Road in town is incredibly dangerous to walk next to. Drivers are too fast and careless,
and the shoulder is uneven and dangerous.
