Aloha council members and Mahalo for receiving my testimony.
I am testifying to express my support for the county council to approve the PONC purchase of the following parcels: 80-21
kealaniwahine at banyans, 81-21 magic sands at la'aloa,82-21 Pahoehoe of la'aloa, 83-21 ke ala kakou.
The purchasing of these parcels for public use will benefit the quality-of-life of all residents in district 7.
We don't have lots of leisure and accessible nature space, and these purchases could create more for the community. Some
locations look ideal for community gardens and cultural hubs, as well.
Additionally, preserving these lands from development is ideal for future generations.
Please also consider a public bathroom and shower near banyans.
My family and I,as well as future generations will be so appreciative of purchasing these lands for the public good.
