Your Committee on Governmental Operations, Relations, and Economic Development, to which
was referred Resolution No. 141-21, reports as follows:
Resolution 141-21, introduced by Committee Chair heather Kimball, seeks approval for the
National Association of Counties (NACo) Board of Directors and the Western Interstate Region
(WIR) Board of Directors, as required in the Hawaii State Association of Counties Bylaws,
Section 5.
There was no substantive discussion on this item.
The vote was taken on the motion to move this measure to Council with a favorable
recommendation and passed with six "ayes."
Your Committee on Governmental Operations, Relations, and Economic Development is in
accordance with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 141-21, and recommends its adoption.
