Date MAY 1 7 2021 3 Attention: Hawaii County Council and especially j a I'm very disappointed that the council,once again, is ignoring the needs of lower Puna, We desperately i need a 4 lane highway to continue from Shower©rive to Pahoa Town. It's way overdue, 3 A highway was already permitted and funded, until the council terminate the project and used the funds elsewhere. That's shameful! The little roundabouts proposed, along with the current one at Ainoloa,are a waste of money and OLIR TIME. They're more of an insult than a solution. Plus, I would Bold off or,the read from 4 careers to Pohiki,The highway extension is way more important. l I demand that the highway extension be on the top off ALL council Members'minds! Our population is only growing and the roads already don't meet taxpayer's needs.
