Hi honorable council members,
I have but one comment on the proposed budget.
Defund the entire public transportation organization,Your version of Honolulu county's HART.Over budget, late, non performing,
and a waste of money, "Mass Transit".
Heleon is a failure. If you need to
provide transportation for the shut-in elderly to go shopping,you could pay for that differently,you guys do have"discretionary
funds".
Your buses are a FAILURE! Private enterprise could do it better, if there is a market for it. 3
I have many other things I'd like to see to cut but you would ignore it as Democrats always know best, but this one county function is
such a miserable failure that even the best Party member has to see the failure.
