These funds will be used by the Office of Housing and Community Development OHCD) for the purpose of implementing a landlord mediation program to eligible households that are impacted by the expiration of the moratorium on evictions. Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $600,000 grant. The OHCD respectfully requests that a breach be authorized to submit this resolution and bill after the June 17, 2021 submission deadline, and that they be waived from the Finance Committee to be placed on the July 7, 2021 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
