Dear Hawai'i County Council,
Please adopt Bill 44 - 2018 IBC/IRC/EBC and Hawaii County amendments.
Please delay the use of the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code until that code can be fully vetted and given
Hawaii specific amendments. In the current form, Bill 44 does not reference this new code but instead brings in the
language from the 2006 IBC that we have been using; no changes for now.
