To be brief, let me just say that my family swims at Mahukona every weekend, year round.

We regularly meet other swimmers who also frequent Mahukona on a weekly basis. For North Kohala residents
Mahukona is our special 'swimming hale' away from crowded beaches south of Kawaihae; close to home, fabulously
clear water, and lots of sea life including yearly sightings of eagle rays, manta rays, dolphins, turtles, and even an
occasional monk seal.

Please do not allow this sacred land to be developed!
