Aloha,
My name is Diane Karp, I live in Kohola, it is my forever home.
Mahukona Wednesday evening Pot Luck, is the place where I met most of my friends. It is where I bring my friends and family to
gather for sunset, food, music &talk story. It is also where we gather to pay tribute to family or friend who passed away.
Mahukona is one of the only places where we can gather for events such as theses.
I've had the pleasure of hearing from local folks who speak of Mahukona as their playground.The place where they grew up, where
their parents came, and their grandparents before them.
Please allow our community to continue the traditions that are so important to us all.
Thank you for this opportunity to express the importance of what this land means to us.
