1 support highly the acquisition of land at M5hukona and north along the shoreline.This place provides unique recreational
opportunities for the local community and the wider island.There is easy access to the sea via the ladder at M5hukona which
enables the elderly and young children in particular to enjoy being in the sea.The old railroad grade is enjoyed by all who like to walk
along it and it provides access to fishing along the shore.Camping along the shore there is also enjoyed.The navigational heiau could
be further protected and people educated about its role in Hawaiian life.What a wonderful opportunity to ensure that which we
enjoy about the place yesterday and today will continue inperpetuity.
