Aloha,
I am writing in support of the two above referenced resolutions for transfer of contingency funds to the North Kohala
Community Resource Center.
Throughout 2020 and now into 2021 NKCRC has never wavered from its mission to support our rural community.
The Feed Kohala initiative made an enormous difference to the lives of innumerable Kohala families (resolution 148-
21) and any funds will help that effort.
NKCRC's small staff of just three co-directors work tirelessly to coach community project organizers while seeking
funding, donations and grants to support their good work. Resolution 147-21 can certainly help in offsetting some of
the organization's operating expenses.
