As a Hawaii Island community member and a professional in the field of cultural resource management with more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Clark is excited to participate in equitable practices of community-based cultural heritage management. The Cultural Resources Commission requires specific representation from professionals with special interest in archaeology to be able to assist Federal, State and County governmental agencies in carrying out historic preservation responsibilities. Mr. Clark holds a B.A. in Anthropology and earned his master's degree in Heritage Management from the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2017. He currently works at ASM Affiliates as a Consulting Archaeologist permitted by the State Historic Preservation Division in the State of Hawaii. Mr. Clark is an energetic volunteer in the community as a soccer coach-AYSO and HYSA, a member of the Society of Hawaiian Archaeology and avid supporter of The Nature Conservancy of Hawaii.
