Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a multi-year lease agreement for a copy machine for the Planning Department. The
copier is to be used by their Disaster Recovery Division's CDBG—Disaster Recovery
team. The monthly lease-cost will be approximately $189.71 plus tax, with black and
white copies not to exceed $ 0.0082 per copy.

To enter into a multi-year lease agreement for two (2) years for one multi function device (copy/scan/fax) for
the Planning Department's Disaster Recovery Division's Community Development Block Grant- Disaster
Recovery team.
The machine will be located in the Hilo CDBG-DR office located at 100 Pauahi St., Suite 200, Hilo, HI 96720.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Community Development Block Grant- Disaster Recovery team, consisting of fifteen new positions,
launched the Voluntary Housing Buyout Program and the Housing Relocation Services program April 30tH
2021. A multi function device (copy/print/fax) is needed to support operations.
The Department is anticipating the following monthly costs:
Lease of no more than $189.71 (plus applicable taxes); black and white copies not to exceed 0.0082 each.
