STATE OF HAWAIII <br />ArfOF°Ne••P <br />RESOLUTION . <br />• ! !; ! • i ! <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Article X, Section 10-11, of the County Charter, any contract, <br />lease, or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year <br />or of more than one fiscal year shall be approved by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a five-year lease for a new <br />multifunction color printer for the Office of the County Clerk, Kona Council District Office; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kona Council District Office, located at the West Hawaii Civic Center, <br />has a multifunction color printer that is over 10 years old, and the lease has been expired for over <br />five years; and <br />WHEREAS, the estimated lease payment for a new multifunction color printer would be <br />approximately $295 per month, which is less than the previous lease; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five-year lease agreement for a multifunction color <br />printer for the Office of the County Clerk, Kona Council District Office. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that sufficient funds shall be budgeted in future fiscal <br />years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
