Re: Proposed Amendments to Resolution 163-21
On July 1, 2021, Resolution 163-21 was transmitted to Council to allow the County to enter into a five-
year multi-year lease agreement for a copy machine for the Planning Department.
Please see below, the proposed amendments to Resolution No. 163-21, correcting the term of the lease
agreement. The proposed amendments are shown in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of
Resolution No. 163-21, material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken through, material to be added is
underscored.
1. The second WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, "the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi-year lease for [five (5)]
two 2 years, for one (1) copy machine for the Planning Department; and"
2. The enacting clause is amended to read as follows:
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a two 2 year lease
agreement for the equipment as indicated above, for the Planning Department."
A draft copy of proposed Resolution No. 163-21, Draft 2, has been intentionally omitted due to the limited
