Funds of up to $100,000 will be used to implement a Health Literacy Program that will advance COVID-19 and general health literacy efforts to reach minority and underserved populations on Hawaii Island. The Department of Research and Development respectfully requests that a breach be authorized to submit this resolution after the July 1, 2021 submission deadline, and to waive it from the Finance Committee and be placed on the July 21, 2021 Council agenda to expedite this process.
