SUBJECT: Status Update from DWS regarding the current status and progress
of revisions to the Hawaii County Water Use & Development Plan
We respectfully request 30 minutes for a status update by Keith Okamoto, Manager-Chief
Engineer of the Department of Water Supply.
Mr. Okamoto will be updating Council on the current status and progress of revisions to the
Hawaii County Water Use & Development Plan as well as provide an estimated time as to when
it will be submitted to council.
We request that this presentation take place on committees scheduled for August 3, 2021.
