Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Kristy Cruz of District 5 to the Transportation Commission.
Ms. Cruz is a lifelong Hawaii resident and, since 2013, the Food and Lodging Lead at Mauna
Kea Services, Inc, managing logistics, materials and supplies in support of scientists and
contractors on Mauna Kea, requiring exceptional supervisory, organizational, and collaborative
skills and specific knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and requirements.
Ms. Cruz is a committed member of the Mountain View Elementary School Community Council
(SCC) and the current President of the Parent, Teacher, Student Association (PTSA). If
confirmed, she will serve a five-year term to end December 31, 2026.
