Re: Resolution for multi-year lease j

Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a multi-year lease agreement for a copy machine for the Department of Finance. The
copier is to be used by the Real Property Tax Division staff in Kailua-Kona. The lease
for the current copier has expired and the department wishes to enter into a new lease
agreement at a monthly cost of approximately $250.

A. REQUEST:
Enter into a five year lease agreement for multi-function, color, copier, digital imaging device to be located at
the Real Property Tax Division, 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Hwy, Bldg D, 2nd Floor, Kailua-Kana, HI.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED:
The lease on the current copier expired in February 2018 and has been on a yearly maintenance agreement.
The Department is anticipating a monthly lease of no more than 60 months (5-year lease) at approximately
$250 per month.
