The three shelters,
Kona - County-owned ..;
Waimea, Parker Ranch Leased by Rainbow Friends, used County $ to pay rent.
Kipimana Keaau shelter, Leased by Rainbow Friends, used County $ to pay the rent. ''�
THE COUNTY IS CONFISCATING ALL THE SHELTERS AWAY FROM HRR. THIS IS DISASTROUS
BECAUSE ALL THE DOGS AND CATS WILL BE HOMELESS OR KILLED.
HRR WAS GIVEN LESS THAN **THREE DAYS** TO MOVE HUNDREDS OF ANIMALS.
This is unacceptable and outrageous for the animals.!!! This is inhumane.
They were saved, cared for, sheltered, given medical care, vaccines, dewormed, spayed, or
neutered only to be killed???
HRR has a Live Release Rate of 95%. Now to be killed??
DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN. Stop the killing. We will get them fostered or adopted we need an
extension of at least 30 days!!
