Subject: Animal Control Contract
I understand the Animal Control Contract with Hawaii Rainbow Rangers is to be canceled, and all animals must be
moved by July 1. We've been asked to petition you for an extension of at least 30 days to give reasonable time to
allow placement of the innocent and homeless animals at the shelters we understand if they are not removed they
will be disposed of.....this is not acceptable.
Please give HRR an extension, or another option , as the confiscation of the three shelters is not an "answer" to this
problem. These animals can be adopted, fostered or re-placed if given enough time to make arrangements.
I understand this must be mailed by today at 5 pm, so I submit this plea to you without further ado, because of the
time constraints. PLEASE KOKUA, find a better solution!!
