SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 57; AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 13 98 WHICH RECLASSIFIED LANDS FROM
AGRICULTURAL—3 ACRES (A-3a) TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL—
10,000 SQUARE FEET(RS-10)AT WAIAKEA, SOUTH HILO, HAWAII,
COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY: 2-4-003:POR. 021
Please see below proposed amendments to Bill No. 57. The proposed amendments are illustrated
in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill No. 57 (material to be deleted is
bracketed and stricken; new material is underscored).
1. SECTION 1 of Bill No. 57 is amended by deleting Condition R in its entirety, as follows:

2. SECTION 1 of Bill No. 57 is amended by re-lettering the current Condition S to read as
Condition R
[� R. Should any of the conditions not be met or substantially complied with in a timely
fashion, the Planning Director may initiate rezoning of the area to its original or
more appropriate designation.
Due to the limited scope of the amendment, a draft copy of Bill No. 57, in its entirety,that would
result if this proposed amendment is adopted is not attached.
