Aloha County Council Members,
I'm submitting testimony in opposition to the nomination of Ms.Sham Armbruster to the Leeward Planning Commission.I recognize the effort and goodwill that
Ms.Armbruster has for the county and that she says she wishes to help out.However, I am gravely concerned about her connections to Tinguley Development and how it
may affect her impartiality in the role of the Leeward Planning Commission.
I extend my support for Ms.Ku'ulei Keakealani to be nominated to the Leeward Planning Commission.Ms. Keakealani has deep and wide connections to all the people of
Hawai'i County.She has practical and professional experience that will enable her to be successful on the Leeward Planning Commission.She actively reaches out to
many different groups of people and understands the needs of a wide variety of people on the island.
We need a Commissioner who understands all aspects of the land and the needs of all of the people on the island.Ms.Armbruster's role as a development manager does
not represent the perspective Hawai'i Island's people desperately need.
Vote NO on Communication 279.
