Subject: Support of Resolution 145-21 Mahukona
Aloha Folks,
Gosh, I hope we can make this happen. I swim at Mahukona three times a week with my friends to
get our exercise and enjoy the ocean near Kohala. There are so few places for us to swim up here that
Mahukona is critical to our health and well-being.
I have a local business with 18 employees and Mahukona is where we have their parties and family
gatherings. There we are, sitting with lawn chairs on the cement while the kids jump off the stairs and play
in the water. There is laughter and music.
Please help us to preserve this piece of our history and a center of our community. It is our
gathering place. Mahalo.
