I write you from Domme,one of the Plus Beaux Villages of France.There are 100 most beautiful villages in this country. The8agide
ofDommohas existed since the 110Ysand isessentially intact ositwas then. |thas,asaresult, become anational treasure.
I say this because our little jewel of Mahukona,a cherished place I swim nearly every day when home on the Big Island,too has been
andneedstocont|nuetobeprntectedhom "commenciaUzat|on"soitcansuotainit'snatura| beouty, diverseaquaticUhyandsense
of timelessness.
Hold fast. Donot allow Mahukonatobe"traded off"for economic gain for the few. Handle this with care and concern topreserve a
place, perfect as it is,surrounded by far too much that is fast disappearing. VVeresidents implore you, nature implores you Lo
protect it. Follow your conscience not those lobbying for personal gain.
