Re: Proposed Amendments to Resolution 176-21, Resolution authorizing the acceptance
of all donations of securities or personal property to the County of Hawaii within the
current fiscal year(FY2022)that are not covered by the Department of Finance's
capitalization procedures
Please see below, the proposed amendment to Resolution No. 176-21, amending the
reporting timeline of donations received. The proposed amendments are shown in
Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 176-21, material to be
deleted is bracketed and stricken through, material to be added is underscored.
The first RESOLVED clause is amended to read as follows:
"BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that henceforth, all donations within the current fiscal year(FY2022) that are not covered
by the capitalization procedures (of the Department of Finance) shall be deemed accepted
by the Hawaii County Council, on behalf of the County of Hawaii, upon receipt by the
County, provided that at the end of each [fisea]-y ] quarter a report of the donations
received is submitted to the Council by the Finance Director."
A draft copy of proposed Resolution No. 176-21, Draft 2, has been intentionally omitted
