Re: Resolution for multi-year lease

Enclosed is_a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a new multi-year lease agreement for a multifunction copy machine for the Office of F
the Prosecuting Attorney for use in their Hilo office. The monthly cost will be =4
approximately$250.00. The lease for the current copier will be expiring in August 2021. h

B, BACKGROUND AND JUBTIFI ATION USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS A NEEDED
We would like the authorization of payment of funds for more than one fiscaly ar for a newtcopier lease for
the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's Hilo Office. ;The lease would be for(50) months, We are seeking
the replacement of a multi-functional copier for the Hilo office. The current copier was purchased on a (5) l
year lease agreement plan which will expire in August, 2021, The coier is critical to handle the volume of
work for our staff.: A new leased multifunctional copier able to meet copying, printing and scanning needs
will improve the overall efficiency in the office. The totalsmonthly lease will cost approximately 250 per
month. This is more effective than purchasing a replacement and paring maintenance charges. x
