Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a new multi-year lease agreement for a multifunction copy machine for the Office of
the Prosecuting Attorney for use in their Waimea office. The monthly cost will be
approximately $183.00. The lease for the current copier will be expiring in August 2021.

S. BACKGROUND ANDJUSTIFICATION USE ADDITIONAL SHEET a AS NEEDED): i
We would like the authorization of payment of funds for more than one fiscalyear for a new copier lease for
the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's Hila Offices The lease would be for(60) months, We are eekin
the replacement of a multi-functional copier for the Waimea office. The current copier was purchased on e
(6) year lease agreement plan which will expire in August, 2621, The crier is critical to handle the volume of 5
work for our staff. 'A new'leased multi-functional copier agile to meet copying, printing and scanning needs
will improve the overall efficiency in the office. The total monthly lease will cost approximately$188 per i=
month, This is more effective than purchasing a replacement and paying maintenance chanes,
