These funds will be used by the Office of Housing and Community Development(OHCD)to implement a homeowner assistance fund program to eligible households that are financially impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $9,500,000 grant. The OHCD respectfully requests that this resolution and bill be waived from the Finance Committee,to be placed on the August 18, 2021 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
