Aloha Committee Members,
Please accept this testimony of full support of the following nomination of Roberta Ku`ulei Keakealani (District 9) for
the Hawaii County Cultural Resources Commission.
I have worked and volunteered with Ku`ulei Keakealani for the past 10 years conducting coastal education, research
and restoration activities. She is highly knowledgeable about natural and cultural resources, and passionate about
perpetuating cultural practices in Hawaii. She is a beloved storyteller, historian, and advocate for community
stewardship. Her diverse skillset makes her perfectly suited for this role, and she leads with aloha in all aspects of her
work.
She would be excellent addition to the Cultural Resources Commission to help guide decisions of our County within
the realm of this Mayor's Commission.
