I have had the opportunity to work with Matt through coastal restoration and natural resource conservation issues in Ka`u. Matt is undoubtedly knowledgeable,but beyond that,his passion for perpetuating and respecting Hawai`i's natural and cultural resources makes him an extraordinary candidate for the Commission. I sincerely believe that Matt Clark would make an excellent addition to the Cultural Resources Commission, and our County will benefit from his expertise and passion for Hawai`i's cultural resources. 1 hope that the Planning Committee will move forward with this thoughtful nomination.
