Subject: Bill 48/Bond for ADA improvements
Aloha County Council
I cannot hold back in criticism concerning Bill 48.The list of parks getting ADA improvements MUST include Onekahakaha and
Carlsmith for lack of safety railings for elderly and disabled.
Why must we beg you?These two parks are very well used and NEED a small consideration of a simple railing to enter and exit the
water safely for elderly and disabled. With 25.S million dollars surely this can be accomplished by Park and Recreation.Or must they
be told to do so by the council and Mayor.
Since all of you are able bodied, perhaps you cannot understand the need for this accommodation. Please be human.
