I am submitting my written testimony in support of Resolution 166. Date JUL 1 2021
It is so important to our Naia to be able to obtain the rest and recuperation they need when they swim into a protective
area such as the Bay in Kealakekua, and other areas. Because they are such curious mammals, they simply will not
rest when there are people and activities surrounding them. It is like taking your toddler or child to DisneyLand and
asking them to take a nap while all this excitement is surrounding them.
