Dear Sir:
I am writing this letter to request County enforcement of traffic regulations in the
Mauna Loa Estates Subdivision. The subdivision roads are the responsibility of the
Mauna Loa Estates Road Maintenance Inc. (MI,ERMI). The membership of MLERMI
consists of all lot owners whose lots are located along the roads in Mauna Loa Estates
Subdivision (see attached map). The information which you require for this request is
provided below:
1. The contact person for this request is Martha Hoverson. She is the Secretary for
MLERMI, and can be reached at: P.O. Box 255, Pahala HI 96777. Daytime phone

2. In March 1999, we took a vote on this question, and the overwhelming majority of
members voted for enforcement of traffic regulations by the County.
3. A list of proposed traffic regulations is attached.
4. A map of the subdivision is attached.
