Re: A Resolution urging the Hawai`i State Legislature to encourage the Department
of Education to develop financial literacy curriculum
Please find attached a resolution urging the Hawai`i State Legislature to continue pursuing
legislation that encourages the Department of Education to develop a curriculum for financial
literacy and include these teachings as a course requirement for each student by 2022.
I respectfully request that this resolution be placed in the appropriate committee agenda for the
meeting to be held on September 7,2021. Mahalo.
