WHEREAS, SSFM International is donating Air Gain and CradlePoint equipment to the County of Hawai‘i Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, this equipment consists of the following:

WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawai‘i County Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities or other personal
property or of real estate or any interest in real estate, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the Hawai‘i County Code states that any gifts or donations of money, securities,
or personal property which fall within the capitalization procedures of the Department of Finance, may be accepted by resolution approved by the Council; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawai‘i Fire Department recommends the acceptance of this donation; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawai‘i County Charter, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162(a)
of the Hawai‘i County Code, the Council of the County of Hawai‘i accepts this donation.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this resolution be sent to SSFM International, 501 Sumner Street, Suite 620, Honolulu, Hawai‘i 96817, acknowledging
this generous donation.
