Aloha Council Member Ashley L. Kierkiewicz, Committee on Public Works & Mass Transit, and Council
Members,
I strongly support naming the Pahoa Roundabout in memory of Rene Siracusa to honor her life, legacy,
and significant contributions to Puna which were many. It was such a pleasure working with
Rene throughout the years in the areas of healthcare to disaster recovery and Malama a` Puna.
Thank you for allowing us to honor her memory in this beautiful way. I will always remember her tending to
the planter beds in the roundabout.
